These Malted Milk Ball Brownie Sundaes are the perfect treat to satisfy any sweet tooth! Homemade brownie pieces are topped with scoops of rich and creamy Malted Milk Ball ice cream then drizzled with warm hot fudge. Sprinkle chopped malted milk balls on top for the finishing touch!

I love chocolate. I love ice cream. And I really love quick and easy desserts! If you've been around here a while then this isn't news to you. I've got a crazy sweet tooth! My boys inherited that sweet tooth from me as well and they both love dessert, especially anything homemade. I've been in the mood for an ice cream sundae lately so I decided to whip up a pan of brownies to create what I like to call "the ultimate sundae."

I start off by making a large pan of fudgy homemade brownies. You don't need an entire pan of brownies to make these sundaes, so there are plenty left over to snack on later! The best part is you only need one bowl to make the batter which makes clean up a cinch!

I've fallen in love with the new Hudsonville Limited Edition Malted Milk Ball Ice Cream and just knew it would take these sundaes to the next level. The Malted Milk Ball ice cream is malt ice cream loaded with chocolate malt balls and ribbons of milk chocolate. How amazing does that sound? Malted milk balls are one of my favorite candies! 

For these sundaes, the brownies are broken into pieces then topped with heaping scoops of ice cream. Drizzle on plenty of hot fudge sauce, then chop some malted milk balls and sprinkle on top for the finishing touch.

Malted Milk Ball Brownie Sundaes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 carton Hudsonville Limited Edition Malted Milk Ball ice cream
  • Hot fudge sauce
  • Malted milk balls, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla, eggs, flour, baking powder and salt and mix with a rubber spatula just until combined. Spread the batter into the prepared pan evenly.
  3. Bake the brownies for 25 - 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the brownies completely on a wire rack.
  4. To assemble the sundaes, cut or break apart the brownies and add them to a parfait glass or bowl. Add 2 -3 scoops of ice cream on top of the brownies. Drizzle the hot fudge sauce over the ice cream then sprinkle with the malted milk ball pieces.
