Happy New Year, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season filled with family, friends, and plenty of delicious food. Our Christmas was fantastic. I was overjoyed that my oldest son and his girlfriend came home for the holiday. This mama was so happy to be with both of her boys! We had a very busy few days but it was totally worth it.

Our NYE was very chill, which is just how I like it. I cooked dinner (tested out my new air fryer!), we watched football, and I whipped up some cocktails for the family. I'm a big fan of mixed drinks and recently picked up a bottle of Lobos 1700 Tequila at my local Meijer for the holidays. I knew I wanted to make something that gave me "sitting on the beach on a warm sunny day" vibes, so I made us Tequila Sunrise cocktails! They are equally as beautiful as they are delicious.

Lobos 1707 Tequila is the best kept secret and I am so happy to have found it locally! Lobos 1707 Tequila uses Pedro Ximenez barrels for its aged expressions and has a Joven, Reposado and Extra Anejo, as well as a Mezcal. Lobos 1707 Tequila is additive free and made with 100% blue weber agave. For my cocktails I use Lobos 1707 Tequila, Joven, which is smooth, has an excellent balanced body and slight balsamic tones, and strong notes of freshly cut Blue Weber agave. It's the perfect tequila for my Tequila Sunrise (and my margaritas, palomas, etc.)
