If you follow me on on social media at all, then you know I was at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando a couple of weeks ago for the Food Wine Conference. I know you know this because I was blowing up your feed with pictures of food, friends, and fun! This was my first year attending the conference and I was lucky enough to also be a Brand Ambassador for Certified Angus Beef

Words can't express how much I loved this conference. I've only been to a few food blogging conferences, so going to Food Wine was eye opening. It was amazing to connect in person with bloggers that I'd only met online, meet new bloggers, and learn a wealth of information about how to grow my blogging business. And, of course, there was food. The food was glorious my friends! And there was so much of it. And we had wine, too! We didn't go hungry, or thirsty, that's for sure.

The conference speakers and sponsors were just awesome. Sharing their information, their products, their stories with us, it was all so inspirational. And that's it for me right there. Inspiration. That is my word since I came back from the conference. I was inspired by the sponsors to get in the kitchen and cook with their products. I was inspired by the speakers to write more, and really think about the content I'm sharing. I was inspired to take better photographs. I was inspired by my fellow bloggers because well, I just was. We are all passionate about what we do, and when you see others as passionate as you are it just lifts you up. It's hard to put it into words, but my heart is happy and full after attending the conference.

At the conference I learned about working with brands, business etiquette and my professional presence, food styling and photography, how to make videos, and so much more. I really could go on and on for days telling you about my experience. There is just too much to type!

One of my favorite sessions was all about mastering your grilling skills, given by Chef Michael Ollier of Certified Angus Beef. Since attending that session, I've been grilling up a storm! And I finally perfected how to grill the perfect steak. Thanks, Chef!

Of course in addition to all the learning, we ate really, really well. From breakfast and lunch to snacks and dinner, I was never hungry during the conference. We were well fed! Our sponsors spoiled us with everything they had. Chef Michael created the menu for our Denim and Diamonds themed #SundaySupper dinner, and it was glorious. Look at the size of those Cowgirl Ribeyes!

What I want to tell you is this...if you are a food blogger, you need to be at Food Wine Conference next year. I mean it! If you want to learn, if you want to make connections with other food bloggers and friends, if you want to talk with brands, then you need to be there. Bottom line. If I can only go to one conference every year, hands down this will be it.

Of course this conference wouldn't be possible without our amazing leader, Isabel from Family Foodie. She started the Sunday Supper Movement, she started the Food Wine Conference, and I feel very fortunate to call her a friend.
