Creamy Guacamole Dip

Creamy Guacamole Dip

This creamy and smooth guacamole dip comes together quickly and is a delicious summer snack or appetizer!

During the summer we entertain quite a bit. From family barbecues to Sunday dinners and even brunch, we often have people over. I love to grill because it's easy, the options are endless, and it doesn't require heating up the house. I also love to make simple side dishes and appetizers that don't need to be cooked or heated up, again keeping the stove off.

This Creamy Guacamole is my newest creation and quickly has become my favorite summer dip. Made with Stonyfield organic plain Greek yogurt, the traditional guacamole gets a tangy, creamy kick.

Stonyfield recently partnered with Late July Organic Snacks to give #StonyfieldBloggers the chance to try out their new tortilla chips. I received the Sea Salt by the Seashore flavor and let me just say, these chips are delicious! Seriously, my whole family is hooked. They are lightly salted and extra crunchy, making them perfect for dipping into this creamy guac. They are also organic, non-GMO, and certified gluten free.

It was really hard not to eat the entire bowl of this guacamole when I first made it. One chip turned to two, then three, then four....I had to tell my son to take it away from me! I hope you, your family, and friends will love this creamy guacamole dip as much as we do. I know I'll be making it quite often this summer.

Serves 6

Ingredients:
2 avocados, peeled and pitted
Juice of one lime
1/3 cup Stonyfield Organic nonfat plain Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp finely diced onion
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Dash or two of red pepper flakes

In a medium bowl, mash the avocados then sprinkle with the lime juice and mix well. Add in the rest of the ingredients and gently fold to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings, if needed. Feel free to add more salt and/or red pepper flakes to your liking. Place a piece of saran wrap directly on top of the guacamole and refrigerate for at least one hour to let the flavors meld. Serve with Late July Organic Tortilla Chips.

Bon Appetit!
